Lived Experience is What the World Needs

Two members of Voices for Change were recently invited to Sydney to share their lived experience with others from around Australia at the ‘National Forum on Cruel, Inhumane and Degrading Treatment in Detention’ at the University of New South Wales

Our members were congratulated for their strong advocacy skills and their sensitivity to other’s experiences

Voices for Change will continue to work with others from the forum on a National Plan to make sure Australian governments meet their obligations to the United Nations Convention against Torture

Jai shares his thoughts on the forum and his feelings about self-advocacy in Lived Experience is What the World Needs
