Celebrating new membership
Hi everyone, we are back at Fitzroy Legal Service for another 7 months until June 30th 2025. We got an emergency grant extension from the federal government so we can focus on finding some security for our future.
We are busy growing our group, doing our self-advocacy work, and getting ready for the next chapter. We love our work and would do anything we can to make a difference to someone’s life or to change a system for the better.
Voices for Change is the only Acquired Brain Injury and Justice self-advocacy group in Australia. We would love to hear from you if you have any ideas to help us get a grant or find a working partnership. Our funding future is uncertain.

We just had lunch with our new members, John and Elizabeth. John is an original member of Voices for Change. We are happy he has come back to the group.
This is Elizabeth’s first time working as an ABI-justice advocate. We are glad to have her on board. Elizabeth is happy to join the group and wants to make a difference to the disability-justice sector. She has a special passion for youth and justice because of her lived experience.
